Although my daughters are taking a season off from fastpitch softball, I still couldn't resist the lure of the diamond... so I snapped off a few shots at one of the games today.

Nice shot. She sure is concentrating!! :)
Between my daughter's 7th grade and High School I got to coach and train her with softball. Oh what fun that was. No I wasn't living my life through hers though many parents I met were, but it was great having something completely in common with her to share 5 or 6 days a week in the summer.
On another note, you can't appreciate how rude it is for a parent to shout and scream from the stands until you have coached, try it sometime.

P.S. I was one of those screaming parents until I coached. "Move your feet you are killing the grass." "Open your eyes ump you are missing a good game." Know what I mean?

Aren't you lucky she did softball. My daughter swam, and there is nothing more boring than watching kids swim up and down for hours at a time.
