Nice shot. The shallow DOF is really good. Can't wait til I can shoot sports with my new telephoto lens.. it (70-210 2.8) gets here tomorrow, gonna be hard to resist going out shooting with it but I have to study for a test.. hehe
Looks much better enlarged, but I might burn her right eye a bit to bring it out some more, kind of is faded in there....
I lvoe the intensity these little guys and gals show. And softball is an awesome sport!!! woohoo!

I'm lovin' that bokeh! She is really cute. I love the intensity in her face. She is concentrating so hard. I do wish more of her arm/bat were in the shot but action shots are difficult enough.
Must be nice to be able to wear short sleeves in February! ;-)

NIce shot. seems to need a bit of saturation and contrast to me. on my monitor it seems a bit flat.

She is going to hit that ball come hell or highwater...or curver or knuckler. What a look. The helmet is a riot! My goodness how can they function?

This is such a good picture that it needs a bit more post-processing to really make it a wow picture.
