Mooooo?

We took the kids up to the local mountains for some snowplay today. On the way back, we stopped at Charlie Brown Farms, one of my favorite places to get a shake (over 100 flavors!). Recently, they have started stocking exotic meats. They serve Ostrich and Buffalo burgers. I was going to buy some rattlesnake or alligator meat for home, but it was a bit too expensive ($15.00/lb. for alligator and $30.00/lb for rattlesnake).

Hmm... doesn't sound too appealing.
I saw a buffalo out in the hills by my house once, impressive looking animals for sure. Dunno about how they taste.

I tried buffalo once long long ago. That was before I saw them up close and realized how beautiful and gentle they are.

So, where are the pics of the kids playing in the snow?

I was going to post some of the kids, but my wife has some pretty strong feelings about posting photos of the kids online. I have also heard some stories of people who have had problems with posting photos of their children. Sorry.

I love the sign - it's very funny. Alligator is excellent, but really does taste like chicken so no need to pay extra for it unless you just want to try it. At Cajun festivals they sometimes sell it "on a stick."

Think it's great that you are respecting your wife's wishes about posting pix of the kids on-line.

Never tried Buffalo. But had plenty of Kudu, Impala, Eland biltong. Still prefer beef though.

We've got a place similar to that here in Western NC. Awesome milkshakes in any flavor you want.

I think your place may have more character though. :)
