Feelin' Groovy!

Feeling a little blue, a little nostalgic... Can you guess what this is? It shouldn't be too hard, although the blue might throw you some. You young'uns probably won't know, but it was a very common item way back when :) There's a big hint in the title of this post!

Hi Chuck, Looks like a macro of a record. But the blue is misleading if it is!! Great capture.. LOL.. :)

Damn, that was too easy I guess LOL. Yes, it is a macro of a vinyl record album (Too be specific, Rolling Stones Big Hits - High Tide and Green Grass). This particular one was pressed in a translucent blue vinyl, hence the color.

This is cool. I knew what it was too but I'm old. Heck, I remember 78's even :) The colors here are very American heh

Figured it was an old record, but haven't seen the blue. Still have a cupboard full of them.....don't have a player anymore though. LOL I'm a packrat!

I was guessing a record, and I see from the comments that I was right! Wahoo! The first time I've been right on these guessing game pix in everyone's PAD. But, I wouldn't have known without the title, which was a Big Hint.

Nice job capturing the grooves.

Huh? A record? Was that before, or after, the 8-tracks? ;-) hehehehe

I was going to guess record as well but the blue certainly does make you question it! Also, there is so much detail and texture I really wasn't sure. Great job on this. Nice colors and detail and I like how you composed it.

Great comp and colors on this and the detail on the outer (right) grooves of the LP (I think that is what we called them,LOL!) is great!

Unfortunately I don't have any of the fancy coloured ones. My collection looks a bit like a Ford factory ... 'you can have one colour ... as long as it's black'.

Not a clue what it could be, but I love the shot. The blue with the hint of red is perfect.

I'm sure it's been guessed above (I tend to read others' comments after I've posted), but its got to be a real record ... I used to have those. Yep, blue did throw me off some, but I figured I wasn't a young'un so I should be able to get it :)
